CentOSをインストールしているideaPadのHDDのSMART情報

BasixをインストールしているThinkPadのHDDのSMART情報のチェックのついでにCentOSをインストールしているideaPadのHDDのSMART情報もチェックしてみた。

Reallocated_Sector_Ct, Reallocated_Event_Count, Current_Pending_Sector, Offline_Uncorrectableとも問題はなさそう。

Raw_Read_Error_Rate, Seek_Error_Rate も問題なし。

Power_On_Hours が26921時間。

前回SMART情報をチェックしてから１年１１ヶ月経過。Power_On_Hoursが11,784時間（491日）増加。２４時間稼働しているはずなのに増え方が少ない。どうなってんだろう？

Basix(Ubuntu)をインストールしているThinkPadのHDDから異音？

UbuntuをベースにしているBasixをインストールして使用しているThinkPad E440のHDDから異音がしたような気がしたので、HDDのSMART情報をチェックしてみた。

$ sudo smartctl -i /dev/sda

Command 'smartctl' not found, but can be installed with:

sudo apt install smartmontools

Basixにはsmartmontoolsが入っていないようなので以下のコマンドでsmartmontoolsをインストール。

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt install smartmontools

smartmontoolsのインストールが完了したのでHDDのSMART情報を表示してみる。

HDDがSMART対応かの確認。

$ sudo smartctl -i /dev/sda
